PROGRAMS & SERVICES
Each year, The Children’s Alliance of Hawai‘i (CAH) serves hundreds of children who have been sexually abused from infants to 18 years of age and their families on O‘ahu and Kaua‘i through the following programs and services:
A program that provides financial assistance for children who have been sexually abused and their siblings.
Therapeutic activities, done in small, gender-specific groups, for children who have been sexually abused, ages 9-18.
Ho‘omaka is an individualized team mentoring program, based on best practices and resilience theory
A program that provides support and resources for parents of children who have been sexually abused.
Pinao is the Hawaiian term for dragonfly, a symbol of transformation, resiliency, strength, power and poise.
Youth Advisory Board
The Children’s Alliance of Hawaii Youth Advisory Board offers youth the opportunity to have a voice by providing a fresh perspective seen from the client’s view.
